What Happens on a Home Visit?

By Sean

Depending on the age of your kitchen and whether the manufacturer worked in mm or inches, your Doors could vary considerably in size from those known as standard. In truth, there is no reality as a standard door because the number and heights and widths of all kitchen units vary so much, you would find it easier to buy a standard car door!

The risk of buying doors from someone who supplies premade doors is not just the lack of flexibility in design style and colour, it is the problem of accepting doors that are ‘close enough’ even though that may mean they are as much as 7mm to small. That may not sound a lot, but accept it from us as professionals who know what we’re doing, that it is!

This is the main reason why we do not keep any premade Doors on the shelf. Every single door we supply is made to order. It will be made in the exact height width and thickness we agree on your order form. This ensures the look you get when the job is complete matches your expectations and you are not left with nasty gaps that can look unsightly.
